JB's original hook into facilitation was on an outward bound camp as a 19 year old seeing the instructors holding space for deep and powerful conversations, and thinking "I want to do that".
He is deeply committed to strengthening the connection between men and the broader community. One of his current facilitation activities involves running facilitated conversations with a small group of men taking on peer support roles within Tasmanian prisons. He has been working in the men’s health space for many years in Tasmania. JB’s love of Groupwork has continued since 2008 when he first did the AGF Diploma course and we are excited about connecting more intentionally with him and the Tasmanian community.
